Welcome!
Welcome to our brand spanking new website to go with the brand spanking new (old) barn! Firstly, I’d like to introduce ourselves! Henry owns and runs Huntsmill Weddings. He does all the meetings, show rounds and is your point of contact for all things weddings. Henry’s parents Chris and Fiona own the farm and the self-catering cottages and they also live on-site in the farm house. Finally, I’m Ruth, Henry’s wife and I do all the marketing, social media and website guff. It’s a real family affair!
We started the barn conversion just over a year ago and it has been a real rollercoaster for us. We’ve come up against the weather, delayed materials, red tape and more and at times it has felt like a real long old slog to get here.
Once the project developed and everything started to take shape we knew it was going to be stunning. We really wanted to make sure we did the barn justice with fixtures and fittings and deliberated for days, if not weeks, on all the details, from the colour of the toilet cubicles to the lighting in the lobby. We also had endless discussions about chairs! Now the barn is complete we have a truly beautiful venue and we’re so excited for weddings to start.
